Pockets is a science-fantasy mid-apocalyptic romance, the result of two distinct realities — one filled with magic and the other with advanced technology — becoming linked via portal. Amber (pictured) must learn to use the magic she inherited to close the portal and stop the turmoil caused by the continued contact between the two worlds. Along the way, she meets friends, mentors, and enemies, escapes monsters twisted by the magical plague that torments both worlds, wrestles with her growing feelings towards her ally, Damian, and struggles to hide the secret she fears will force everyone away.
Though it can be read as a standalone book, Pockets is the first book in the Axistentium series. The prequel to Pockets, titled An Introduction to the Fundamentals of Subspace Manipulation, Edition 16, or “IFOSM 16″ follows Abagale (Ab’gill) during the time pre-joining of Earth and Storven. The sequel to Pockets, titled Intercellular, follows Amber as she continues to deal with the ramifications of the conclusion of Pockets.
